今シーズンの主戦場として考えている山女魚フィールド、その開拓は北海道でもトライしています。
本州と違い、なかなかレアな山女魚の山渓であり、こちらでも探し求めている部分でもあります。
みっちりと訪問させて頂き約６シーズン程！？になるかと思いますがシーズナルに合わせたそれぞれの業種、その活性期をフィールド毎でようやく掴みつつあります。北の大地！
道南、道北、道東、、、、。精一杯新規開拓を継続しています。
狙いを定め、毎度の事ながら地形図を事前リサーチ、そのタイミングに合わせフライトチケットの手配＆スケジュールを組み立てています。
ここ数年、稀に見る北の大地の「梅雨！？」明らかに気候変動が起きていると・・感じています。
継続的で集中的な降水量による増水、濁り、その兼ね合いも含めなかなかのピンポイント、全てに対してよりシビアなセレクトを求められます。
その中でも初日、リサーチしていたポイントへ雨の増水とその水位の下がる時間帯とを照らし合わせ、入渓。
なかなかの腹パン、美しい良型山女魚との素晴らしい出会い、本当に価値ある釣行です。
北海道では、海と川との良い自然環境、また外来種との生息域バッティング、どのような条件で生態系が成り立っているのか・・・
なかなかサイズに関してはチビちゃんが多く・・・本州のとはまた違った山女魚釣行に大半が成りがちです。
山岳域、どこまでも奥深く生息するレインボー、山女魚愛好家としては今回の釣行を貴重に感じています。
この既に・・レアな生態系を保って欲しいですね！！

[Encounter with good-sized landlocked masu salmon in a mountain stream in Hokkaido in early summer, July]
Hokkaido is one of the main fishing grounds we are considering this season, and we are trying to develop it.
Unlike in Honshu, mountain streams are quite rare for wildlings, and this is one of the areas we are searching for them.
We have been visiting the area for about 6 seasons! I think it has been about 6 seasons since I have visited the area, and I am finally getting a grasp of the different industries and their active seasons according to the season in each field. The land of the north!
We will continue to explore new areas to the best of our ability. We are continuing to develop new business as best we can.
We have our sights set, research topographic maps in advance, and arrange flight tickets and schedules according to the timing.
The last few years have seen a rare “rainy season” in the northern lands. It is obvious that climate change is occurring…I feel it.
The continuous and concentrated precipitation causes rising water and turbidity, and the combination of these factors makes it difficult to pinpoint the right spots, so we are required to make more severe selections for all of them.
On the first day, we entered the river at the point we had researched, matching the rising water level of the rain with the time of day when the water level was falling.
It was a truly worthwhile fishing trip, with a nice encounter with a beautiful good-sized landlocked masu salmon.
In Hokkaido, the ecosystem is made up of the good natural environment of the sea and rivers, as well as the habitat of non-native species…
The size of the fish is not so easy to determine… Most of the fishing trips tend to be different from the ones in Honshu.
As a lover of mountain ladyfish, I feel that this fishing trip was very valuable for me.
I hope this already rare ecosystem can be preserved!
