駿河湾の最南端に位置する静岡県御前崎沖のエリアは、黒潮が豊かな漁場をつくり釣り人の聖地として知られる。今回は鯛ラバの名手で瀬戸内海を中心に全国に良型マダイを狙い釣行を重ねている赤澤康弘さんと、タレントアングラーの福島和可菜さんが幻の魚、シロアマダイをターゲットに鯛ラバゲームに初挑戦する。シロアマダイが高価である最大の理由は、その希少性。日本近海で漁獲されるものの、その数は限られており、特に50センチを超えるサイズのシロアマダイは1尾数万円の値段が付く「幻の高級魚」絶品料理も紹介する。
