様々な観光地があり、多くの観光客が訪れる北海道の南の玄関口、「函館市」。函館市の食といえば豊かな海産物が有名だが、その中でも函館市民に愛されているのが「スルメイカ」。様々なイカを日々狙い続けている名手・松田竜也さんと、函館が地元の福島和可菜さんが、函館沖のスルメイカ釣りを堪能。津軽海峡の函館沖のスルメイカは水温と潮の関係で少し難しい状況だが、2人は対応して美味しいサイズを連発させる。釣りたての美味しいスルメイカ料理と函館市民が愛するスルメイカとの関係性など、「イカの街・函館」を紹介します。
