茨城県（いばらきけん）の静（しず）かな川辺（かわべ）で、仲間（なかま）たちとナマズ釣（つ）り。
Catfish fishing with friends by a quiet riverside in Ibaraki.

広（ひろ）い空（そら）、きれいな夕焼（ゆうや）け、走（はし）り回（まわ）る子（こ）どもたち。
Wide open skies, a beautiful sunset, and kids running around.

あまり釣（つ）れなかったけど、それでも最高（さいこう）の時間（じかん）でした。
We didn’t catch many fish, but it was still an amazing time.

その場（ば）で魚（さかな）をさばいて（三枚（さんまい）おろし）、みんなでお弁当（べんとう）を食（た）べて。
We prepared fish on the spot (san-mai filleting) and shared bento together.

ただ一緒（いっしょ）にいて、たくさん笑（わら）った一日（いちにち）。
Just being together and laughing all day.

特別（とくべつ）なことは何（なに）もないけど、
Nothing special happened, but—
