鹿児島県鹿児島湾、通称「錦江湾」と呼ばれる豊饒の海は、様々なターゲットが狙える釣り場として知られる。中でもマダイは日本屈指の魚影の濃さを誇る。ノッコミシーズンを迎えた2月下旬、鯛ラバの名手・赤澤康弘さんが良型を求めて釣行。ポイントが豊富な錦江湾の湾奥と湾口を、信頼する船長とともに巡り、鯛ラバのセレクトやリトリーブスピードといった赤澤さんならではのテクニックによって攻略。その躍動感あふれる様子を、錦江湾の美しい景色とともに紹介する。
