朝からアタリは途切れませんでしたが、そのほとんどがピンギス…。15cm以上のキープサイズは16尾、リリースサイズは25尾という結果でした。

途中でポイント移動も考えましたが、猛暑で断念。それでも粘った末に、この日最大22.0cmの良型キスをキャッチ！

さらに暑さで撮影用カメラが何度もオーバーヒートするハプニングも発生…。

Summer surf fishing for Japanese whiting at the former Odo Elementary School area in Nagasaki!

We had bites almost every cast, but most of the fish were very small. The final catch was 16 keeper-sized fish (15 cm or larger) and 25 released undersized fish.

Although we considered moving to another spot, the extreme summer heat made us stay. Persistence paid off with a beautiful 22.0 cm Japanese whiting, the biggest fish of the day.

To make things even more challenging, the camera repeatedly overheated during filming!
