昨年度と同様5月の道南ブラウン釣行に続き、6月初旬に計画したのは道北。
レインボー活性期であるこのピンポイントのタイミングですが、山岳レインボーを7月の初夏に予定している為、また違ったプランニング＆フィールドへ。
雨鱒、利尻島訪問、そして渓流イトウ・・・
北海道は年に４回ほどここ数年・・5〜6年ほど前から継続、どっぷり訪問させて頂いています。
新規エリアと新しい体験＆出会いを求め、さまざまなフィールド開拓を猛ダッシュで続けいています。
あと数箇所、深く入り込まないと行けないエリアもありますが、おおよその土地勘も含め魚種、様々な自然渓の特徴も理解しつつあります。
それにしても「北の大地」は別物ですね・・・
また渓流ベイトフィネスタックル、自分らしい釣行スタイルでのイトウとの出会い。自然のサイクルを堪能、それは一言でまたこちらも感動です。
そして極上の雨鱒、レインボーともスケジュール的に軽くですがお相手して頂き、今回の旅録を終えました。
最近、ソロ以外ではアングラーtommyさんとの釣行を重ねています、キャリア含め学ばせて頂ける部分も大変多く、またプロスノーボード時代の仲間ともタイミングを合わせセッション、自然相手にまた新たな歳層の経験と思い出を重ねています。
自身の引き出しを増やし、未来へ向け最高の条件＆先ずは日本全国での最高峰の釣行プランニングを組み立てれる様・・・
ひたすら歩き続けます。
10代〜20代は板で世界を、現在は竿を片手に旅にでる・・・素晴らしい経験、価値＆本質ある時間を過ごさせて頂いています、感謝です。鱒釣を通して更に深く生き抜こうと思います。

Following the brown fishing trip to southern Hokkaido in May as last year, we planned to go to northern Hokkaido in early June.
This is the pinpoint timing of the active season for rainbow trout, but since we plan to fish for mountain rainbow trout in early summer in July, we had a different plan and went to a different field.
Rainbow trout, a visit to Rishiri Island, and mountain stream Itou…
I have been visiting Hokkaido 4 times a year for the past few years…5-6 years now.
We have been visiting Hokkaido 4 times a year for the past 5-6 years, and we have been exploring new areas and new experiences and encounters in a mad dash to explore various fields.
There are a few more areas that I need to go deeper into, but I am getting a better understanding of the area, the fish species, and the characteristics of the various natural streams.
But the “land of the north” is something else…
I am also encountering Itou using mountain stream bait finesse tackle and my own unique fishing style. Enjoying the cycle of nature, that’s just one word for it, and it is also very moving.
I also had a chance to meet a superb rain trout and rainbow, though lightly due to my schedule, and that was the end of my trip report.
Recently, I have been fishing with angler Tommy, who is not a solo angler, and I have learned a lot from him, including his career, and I have also been able to have a session with my friends from my professional snowboarding days.
I will continue to walk the path of planning the best fishing trip in Japan….
I will keep on walking.
In my teens and twenties, I traveled the world with a board, and now I travel with a rod in my hand… I am grateful for the wonderful experiences, value and essence of time I have spent here. I am going to live more deeply through trout fishing.
