Following Fukuyoshi Beach,
Itoshima’s Shikaka Beach has also entered the main season for Japanese whiting surf fishing.
I had no empty hooks for 6 casts in a row!
The tip of my Kisu Special rod was shaking hard with those exciting whiting bites, and the action kept coming.
Spring is now in full swing, and it looks like the whiting have moved well into the sandy beaches.
As the water temperature becomes even more stable,
surf fishing for Japanese whiting from the beach will become even more exciting.
